How Fish Games Work — A Practical Guide
Getting started with fish games on y999 takes about thirty seconds once your account is funded. Load any fish game from the lobby, and the game screen opens showing an underwater scene filled with moving fish. At the bottom of the screen is your cannon — this is what you control.
Before you start shooting, you need to set your bullet cost. This is the amount in PKR that each shot costs you. A lower bullet cost means cheaper shots but proportionally smaller returns when you kill fish. A higher bullet cost amplifies both the cost per shot and the payout per kill. Most experienced players start at a moderate bullet value, get a feel for the fish patterns, then adjust upward when boss fish appear on screen.
Aiming and shooting is done by tapping or clicking on your target. The cannon swivels to face where you tapped and fires a bullet. If the bullet hits the fish and the hit kills it, the fish disappears and its prize value is added to your balance. If the fish is not killed by that shot, you have spent the bullet cost with no return — which is why shot efficiency matters in this game type more than players initially realise.
Special weapons and power-ups appear during gameplay. These range from laser beams that cut across the entire screen to electrical nets that stun clusters of fish simultaneously. Using a special weapon at the right moment — particularly when a dense school of high-value fish is crossing the screen — can produce a significant burst of PKR earnings in a very short window.
Boss fish are the most lucrative targets in any fish shooting title on y999. These are oversized, visually distinct creatures that appear at intervals and require significantly more bullets to kill than regular fish. The payoff for successfully taking down a boss can be many times what you would earn from the same number of shots on normal fish. Recognising when a boss is close to dying — and concentrating all your firepower on it at that moment — is a skill that separates consistent players from casual ones.
Set Your Bullet Cost
Choose how much PKR each shot costs before you start. Match it to your session budget — you can change it anytime during play.
Target Efficiently
Aim at fish that are moving slowly or clustered together. Chasing fast single fish across the screen burns bullets with poor returns.
Save Power for Bosses
When a boss fish appears, increase your bullet cost and focus entirely on it. The multiplier payout justifies the higher shot cost per hit.
Use Special Weapons Wisely
Trigger area weapons when a dense school crosses the screen. Using them on sparse fish is a waste — timing the activation is key.
